Trees For Devon - Webinars

Torbay Council are proud to be partners in the Saving Devon’s Treescapes Project as part of its response to Ash Die Back.

This new initiative led by Devon Wildlife Trust on behalf of the Devon Ash Dieback Resilience Forum, is here to provide hope and action in the face of these alarming changes.

The Woodland Trust is heading up the Local Nature Partnership (LNP)'s new 'Trees for Devon' initiative.

The LNP has worked with Devon Wildlife Trust, The Forestry Commission and the Devon Ash Dieback Resilience Forum to organise a trio of free tree webinars:

Join us for an online talk and Q & A session about woodland creation.

Join us for an online talk and Q & A session about Ash Dieback and Saving Devon’s Treescapes.

Join us for a virtual tour of Fingle Woods and Q & A session on Ancient Woodland Restoration.

The first webinar is Tues 8th Sep, 1-2pm, and responds to the welcome surge of interest in tree planting by discussing the issues that need considering.

These are free events but booking is essential as places are limited. You can book via the Woodland Trust's website: https://woodlandtrusttickets.cloudvenue.co.uk/CreationTreeTalk

Videos of the webinars will be placed on the LNP website: https://www.naturaldevon.org.uk/
